The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is packed to the brim with cutting-edge conveniences. That’s why it’s earned high praise from the J.D. Power Multimedia Satisfaction Study. This yearly survey explores customer satisfaction with in-vehicle infotainment technology.

To find the year’s top models, J.D. Power surveyed 110,827 drivers about their new vehicle’s tech features. Based on those responses, models were graded on a 1,000-point scale, with a higher score indicating greater customer satisfaction. The Cadillac Escalade earned an impressive 924 points, putting it at the top of the Large Premium segment.

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade boasts a revolutionary infotainment system, complete with an ultra-high-definition three-screen setup that spans 38 inches. The star of the show is a 16.9-inch touch-screen display that gives you easy access to your music, climate controls, navigation settings, and smartphone mirroring. It even offers the convenience of Super Cruise™, a hands-free driving technology that’s compatible with over 200,000 miles of roads across the United States and Canada. You can also opt for a rear-seat entertainment system to keep your kids engaged on long drives. And if you’re an audiophile, upgrade from the standard 19-speaker sound system to the 36-speaker audio setup.

U.S. News and World Report named the 2021 Cadillac Escalade to its list of 15 Best Luxury Cars and SUVs for Tall People in 2021. Awards are great, but the numbers don’t lie: the 2021 Cadillac Escalade packs in 42.30 inches of headroom and 44.50 inches of legroom in the front row. The second row has 38.90 inches of headroom and 41.70 inches of legroom. You could wedge yourself into the third row, but it doesn’t have quite as much space, with legroom of 34.90 inches and headroom of 38.20 inches.

The Cadillac Escalade has a lot of room for you to ride comfortably, but what else? For extra confidence on the road, you can upgrade standard 2WD to 4WD. As you ride down the road, you can take advantage of the four-way power lumbar control in the front seats, or upgrade to heat and ventilation. What to Expect from the 2020 Cadillac Escalade

What to Expect from the 2020 Cadillac Escalade - Ballwin, MO
Current 2018 Cadillac Escalade – what will the future 2020 Cadillac Escalade look like?

The year 2020 may seem like a big jump into the future, but it will be here in just over two years! With the change into a new decade, we will see some big updates on the Escalade. In fact, according to Automobile Magazine, the 2020 Cadillac Escalade is expected to come equipped with an independent rear suspension.

With this change, the Escalade will offer buyers a flat cargo floor once all the seats have been folded down. This means owners won’t have to detach the third-row seats anymore to get the cargo space they need.

Along with this suspension update, the new Escalade will likely borrow some styling cues from the sleek, sexy Escala concept that made its debut at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours. This would give the Escalade a curvier, yet still bold look.

Finally, by 2020, the Escalade is likely to get the latest version of Cadillac’s Super Cruise technology along with a 4.2-liter twin-turbo DOHC V8 engine that is found in the Escalade. There could even be a plug-in hybrid model to step up the Escalade’s efficiency game.

What changes would you like to see in a future Escalade model? To see the current Escalade, stop by ELCO Cadillac and take it out for a test drive today.
