When it comes to car-related opinions, Cars.com is one of the most trusted sources in the industry. Their lists are highly reliable and thoroughly vetted through a long process of analysis and testing. One of their most well-known and anticipated awards is for Luxury Car of the Year, and the latest Cadillac Escalade has officially claimed the title for 2021.
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is the newest iteration of what’s usually considered to be General Motors’ most luxurious vehicle. The 2021 model sports a fresh exterior look, a new sports-inspired interior, and a slew of new tech features. It also comes with two powerful engine options that complement its refined good looks.
While the 2021 Escalade’s luxury features and new design are certainly attractive, what really caught Cars.com’s attention was the vehicle’s highly anticipated 38-inch display screen. The website had nothing but praise for the groundbreaking screen, describing it as “lightning quick, super-crisp and clear in its colorful displays, and [capable of] a level of reconfigurability and high-tech geek-lust that kept us endlessly entertained.”
If you’re ready to test drive the award-winning luxury vehicle that Cars.com has dubbed a “stunning mechanical tour de force,” pay us a visit at ELCO Cadillac in Ballwin, Missouri, today.

The year 2020 may seem like a big jump into the future, but it will be here in just over two years! With the change into a new decade, we will see some big updates on the Escalade. In fact, according to Automobile Magazine, the 2020 Cadillac Escalade is expected to come equipped with an independent rear suspension.
With this change, the Escalade will offer buyers a flat cargo floor once all the seats have been folded down. This means owners won’t have to detach the third-row seats anymore to get the cargo space they need.
Along with this suspension update, the new Escalade will likely borrow some styling cues from the sleek, sexy Escala concept that made its debut at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours. This would give the Escalade a curvier, yet still bold look.
Finally, by 2020, the Escalade is likely to get the latest version of Cadillac’s Super Cruise technology along with a 4.2-liter twin-turbo DOHC V8 engine that is found in the Escalade. There could even be a plug-in hybrid model to step up the Escalade’s efficiency game.
