The Cadillac XT5 will offer the available Brembo Brake Package for the 2022 model year. This package will give the crossover some additional stopping power and give you one more reason to go with a new XT5.
The Brembo Brake Package includes Brembo performance front brakes as well as red brake calipers for the front and rear brakes of the XT5. This package is newly available for the 2022 XT6 too, offering the same features.
Both models only offer the package on the Sport trim level. The XT5 Sport also comes with Gloss Black accents on the exterior and 20-inch 12-spoke Pearl Nickel finish alloy wheels. Its standard 3.6-liter V6 engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and delivers 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. Other performance-improving features include the Sport Control All-Wheel Drive System and the exclusive Performance Suspension system.
The 2022 XT5 will likely carry over most of the same features from the 2021 model year since it will be the last XT5 in the current generation. Some major updates should happen in the following model year. All that’s known so far is that the 2022 XT5 will add the package and drop the Garnet Metallic and Shadow Metallic paint colors.

The 2021 Cadillac XT4 and XT5 share the same base 2.0-liter Turbo engine, but its power output differs slightly between models. The XT4 puts out 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, while the XT5 generates 235 horsepower. For a bit more heft, XT5 offers another powertrain option, a 310-horsepower V6.
The smaller 2021 Cadillac XT4 provides 22.5 cubic feet of storage space behind the second row and up to 48.9 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down. The 2021 Cadillac XT4 and XT5 both offer plenty of standard driver-assist technology, such as Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Park Assist, and Forward Collision Alert. The 2018 Cadillac XT5 is back and better-than-ever for 2018. With a handful of new innovations and improvements, you’re bound to be impressed.
The biggest change for the 2018 model year is the XT5’s heated steering wheel. This is included on most trim levels and gives you the ideal combination of luxury and comfort.
The XT5 comes in four different trim levels: Base, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. All trim levels feature plenty of power, especially the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower. All-wheel drive comes standard on the Platinum trim level while an advanced front-wheel drive system welcomes you on other trim levels.
Style is unbeatable in the 2018 XT5, starting with features like swept-back headlights and bold LED running lights. On the inside, wood accents can be found throughout your cabin, making for a stylish interior.
Something else that’s new for the 2018 XT5 is a lighter body. The new XT5 has lost a few pounds, which gives it a sporty feel and more agility on the road than before. A fully independent suspension gives you extra help on the road, too.

The 2017 Cadillac XT5 officially replaced the Cadillac SRX, currently standing as the only crossover in the revered luxury brand’s lineup. While more crossovers are slated for release in the coming years, the Cadillac XT5 arrives with more features and a better design than the model it replaced. Here’s a closer look at how the Cadillac XT5 compares to the Cadillac SRX.
Like the Cadillac SRX, the Cadillac XT5 features seating for up to five passengers in a spacious cabin designed for the modern passenger. It’s also available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations.
However, many of the changes come down to what lies under the hood.
The Cadillac XT5 carries an upgraded version of the SRX’s standard engine. The new 3.6-liter V6 engine offers 310 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. That’s two more horsepower and five more lb-ft of torque than the Cadillac SRX offered.
The Cadillac XT5 also comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift. The now-discontinued Cadillac SRX featured a standard six-speed automatic transmission.
The Cadillac XT5 features a lightweight architecture that drops 165 lb. when compared to the weight of the Cadillac SRX.
