Cadillac is an American luxury brand, and it focuses on premium quality, sophisticated details, and exceptional models. Yet, it is also focused on intensity and competition. Its latest reveal, the Project GTP Hypercar, is an impressive preview of the automaker’s entry into the racing stage for 2023.

“Cadillac will be competing again on the world racing stage, and we are all thrilled to return to Le Mans after 20 years,” said Global Cadillac Vice President Rory Harvey. “By competing in both the 2023 IMSA and WEC championships, Cadillac Racing has the opportunity to demonstrate its capability, craftsmanship and technology.”

Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing and Dallara infused the Project GTP Hypercar with the brand’s signature elements and iconic look. You’ll be captivated by the floating blades and vertical lighting, which pay homage to the past, present, and future of the brand’s style. Under the hood, pumps an all-new 5.5-liter DOHC V8. Its power is complemented with a LMDh common hybrid system for unparalleled performance and range.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2023 will mark the Project GTP Hypercar’s first entry into the racing world. The automaker hopes to add big wins to its already illustrious racing standings, which earned top placements since 2005.
